I've been training in the martial arts for about 29 years. The workouts are always very satisfying but can be taxing on the body if you don't take the time to properly recuperate. I found Ki Gong through the organization I train in about 20 years ago and when I discovered the benefits it provided I was hooked. My body felt more balanced and recovered faster. I also felt more mentally and spiritually at ease as well. Ki Gong can be done by anyone regardless of physical ability so I added it to my teaching routine at my physical martial arts location. Students were finding improvement in their mobility, circulation and overall physical health and mental well being. I decided that more people should be able to enjoy the benefits of Ki Gong practice regardless of whether they train in martial arts or not. I started a stand alone class at my studio and now older individuals are enjoying the benefit of physical activity without the risk of more intense workouts. They also share a sense of community with the other members. Bringing all these wonderful benefits to more people via an online course was the next logical step.
